UK Graduates to get more Employment Opportunities in the Coming Days

Graduates will now be valued more in the United Kingdom since 25% of the jobs here will be solely reserved for them as well as for the skilled workers. In fact, the demand of skilled workers in the job market is increasing among the potential employers who will be now looking for only graduate labours for enhancing the nation’s economic growth. Consequently, several positions for all those who do not possess degrees have disappeared, and this has given rise to the demand of degree courses in the United Kingdom.

Taking a total of three thousand employed professionals, the research was conducted at the Institute of Education. Reports from the Skills and Employment Survey moreover showed that the present employment landscape received pretty good figures for graduate jobs, whereas those for unskilled labours showed low figures.

The study jointly sponsored by Economic and Social Research Council and the UK Commission for Employment and Skills showed clear and latest evidences on the difficulties encountered by unqualified young individuals heading to get employed. In fact, the evidence brought a strong answer to the dilemma whether the economy is now in want of more or a few graduates.

Arguments popped up on behalf of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) that the number of graduates and skilled workers will increase with time which will make the economic growth of the nation stronger. In fact, it will not be easier for students without degrees or skills to grab prestigious jobs.

Another report from the Pew Research Center in the US said that a huge percentage of graduates with online university degrees have been successful in overcoming the bitter times of recession by not only avoiding possibilities of losing jobs but safeguarding their hard earned income.

According to the Institute of Education, studies revealed that there were around 74% of the degree holders who have qualified for prospective jobs, whereas in the year 2006, it was 69%. Witnessing this 5% increase, Professor Francis Green of Institute of Education said that the graduates must anyhow be utilised in the workforce for better productivity.

The director of CBI’s education and skills department, Neil Carberry has showed supreme optimism in saying that the competitive ability needs to be sustained in UK that will stand responsible for the young individuals taking prospective routes to master a wide range of professional skills. Furthermore, the economical changes will continue which will thereafter result in the expansion of alternative routes for graduates to achieving knowledge and skills for higher education.
