ONLINE MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS
The Rogers Theological Seminary Online Master of Theology Degree is a graduate academic degree from our Online Seminary that requires a study to earn 48 credits for all Master of Theology for the Master of Divinity, which includes a required number of credits in the student's "Christian Major" discipline.

1. MASTER OF THEOLOGY - Th.M.

The Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree is designed for graduates of accredited theological schools who desire to continue or resume their theological education for enhancement of professional competence in selected areas of study. The degree is usually earned after the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or an equivalent of three years of graduate studies in theology.This degree can range from a one or two years of specialized advanced studies in theological research. The Th.M. is usually designed as an advanced academic degree with an emphasis on academic research.


 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR Th.M.

 Those persons are encouraged to apply for the Th.M

• who have been awarded a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• who have attained at least an overall B+ (3.25 on a 4.0 scale) academic average in their foundational theology degree
•  who desire to continue or resume their theological education for enhancement of professional competence in selected areas of study

2. MASTER OF DIVINITY - M.Div.

 The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree is the basic professional theological degree. The program is typically completed in three years. The M.Div. is designed to prepare men and women for ordination into the Christian ministry. However, not all students pursuing an M.Div. degree feel called to ordination. Some desire to teach. Others desire to serve in some form of extension ministry. Many are still discerning where God is calling them.

The Master of Divinity program through ROGERS Theological Seminary is the standard professional degree for ministry. Specifically designed to help men and women prepare for professional Christian ministry in local church and para-church settings, this program provides students with in-depth study of biblical leadership principles and strategies and intensive study in the scriptures and essential truths of the Christian faith. Emphasis is placed on understanding and utilizing the core values, knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in a variety of pastoral roles.

Master of Divinity students must choose a concentration of study. Concentrations include Church Ministries, Christian Leadership, Evangelism and Church Planting, Pastoral Counseling, Pastoral/Preaching, Worship Studies, Biblical Studies and Theology and Apologetics.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS FOR - M.Div.

Applicants holding a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or college, having achieved at least a B average, will be considered for admission to the M.Div. program.
Completed application forms, official transcripts of all post-secondary education,personal history should be sent to the Seminary.When an application has been approved, an interview is arranged with the Dean and Director of Basic Degree Studies.
